This week is a special week for HWDT and Earthwatch, we have five primary school teachers on board who are here to learn all about the marine environment of the west coast and the work of HWDT. The week combines the usual HWDT survey work with practical sessions in the evenings, where the teachers are developing a teaching resource based on their learning experience on 'Silurian'. In this way they hope to take something valuable and long-lasting back to the classroom about the Hebridean marine environment.
